Global MICE Forums, Iberian Edition<\/a><\/h2>\nThe Iberian MICE forums are professional meetings of the Meetings & Events Industry, in which selected buyers of meetings & incentives from the main markets of Western Europe come from different Iberian destinations to meet and establish relationships of trust with leading suppliers and MICE destinations in Spain and Portugal as in this case Benidorm DMC.<\/p>\n
Our objective in this event was to position Benidorm as a MICE destination, we talked to the buyers who had not thought before in Benidorm to celebrate their next event and we told them why our city in recent years is one of the MICE destinations in the Mediterranean that has grown the most in the national and international market.<\/p>\n
We talked to them about the fact that Benidorm has several hotels that are a destination in themselves, with ample indoor and outdoor spaces to organize your event and to carry out activities and team building. At Benidorm DMC we take care of the complete on-site management of your corporate event, convention, meeting or incentive. We provide creative and high quality services in MICE tourism.<\/p>\n
The relaxed atmosphere allowed us to establish professional relationships from a much more human point of view, giving importance not only to the commercial activities that Benidorm DMC can offer in the Costa Blanca and the Valencian Community, but also to the people and the relationships between them.<\/p>\n
This year the program focused on the return on investment (ROI) in marketing and sustainability in events and, for this, we had the presence of the founder and CEO of the ROI Marketing Institute of Miami, Pablo Turletti.<\/p>\n
Turletti presented new management models that can guarantee sustainability and credibly measure the economic profitability of marketing and events projects, while at the same time generating social equity and environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n
Among the major buyers who attended the Global MICE forum in La Rioja were event planners, corporate event managers, marketing and communication directors, event agencies and DMCs from all over Spain, with whom we attended, among other things, a presentation of La Rioja Turismo, a gymkhana through the historic center of Logro\u00f1o and a team building activity in the Yuso Monastery.<\/p>\n

These meetings are characterized because they combine pre-established one-to-one appointment sessions with an intense social program, in which a common goal is to provide the best MICE services (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) as well as everything that the destination provides for the breaks between sessions.<\/p>\n
It is worth mentioning that we had the opportunity to participate in a very dynamic and excellently organized gymkhana through the center of the city, in which we learned characteristic details of the history and customs of the city while sharing moments and laughs with the other participants and attendees of the Global MICE forum of La Rioja.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/span><\/p>\nBetween break and break we enjoyed a dramatized visit to the Monastery of Yuso, where we were given to know stories and legends of other times telling for example, works and miracles of San Millan or Emiliano as he is also known, being this a clergyman characterized by his numerous miracles during thirty-nine years, being “The miracle of the Beam” the most characteristic and renowned.<\/p>\n
We were also able to enjoy, as it could not be otherwise, some wonderful wineries in the area, in which we had the opportunity to organize guided tours and tastings of their best wines.<\/p>\n
As a final point and as a personal opinion, I would like to point out that the host destination treated us with great care and detail, took into account every opinion to make our stay more comfortable and we could see firsthand the hospitality that the city of Logro\u00f1o has as a flag.<\/p>\n
